Meet your Pharmacist

Kelsey Podnar, PharmD

Kelsey is a local girl, born and raised in Du Quoin. She attended St. Louis College of Pharmacy where she was awarded two great prizes: graduating with her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2017, and meeting and falling in love with her husband, Trent. After graduation, Kelsey worked for Walgreens for five years before joining our team in September 2021.

“I’ve always loved the hometown feel of a small pharmacy, and I love being able to have one-on-one conversations with my patients and getting to know them personally. To make a difference in someone’s life, no matter how big or small, is truly the best part of my job! It really makes me feel honored to know I’m making a difference to make our community healthier.”

Kelsey, Trent, and their two-year-old daughter, Brynn, still reside in Du Quoin. When not working, Kelsey enjoys reading (Game of Thrones and the Outlander series are some of her personal favorites), gardening, and playing with her pet: Chaps the Cat.
